After entering this information, you’ll be taken to the “Create /Edit a Hold” screen. From this screen, you can select how and where you wish to be contacted when the item becomes available. You can choose to be contacted by phone, by e-mail or both. (Note: If you have provided your library with an e-mail address, you will be contacted by e-mail). The information you enter here is valid for this hold request only, and does not change any information contained in your library account. You can also select a pickup location for the item (By default, the pickup location is the “Home” library listed in your borrower record) or change the expiration date for the hold (By default, your request expires one year from the date it’s placed if it’s not filled.)
